Thor: Amor y trueno es una película estadounidense de superhéroes de 2022 basada en Marvel Comics y protagonizada por el personaje Thor. Producida por Marvel Studios y distribuida por Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, es la secuela de Thor: Ragnarok (2017) y la película número 29 del Universo Cinematográfico Marvel (MCU). La película fue dirigida por Taika Waititi, quien coescribió el guion con Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, y está protagonizada por Chris Hemsworth como Thor junto a Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Waititi, Russell Crowe y Natalie Portman. En la película, Thor intenta encontrar la paz interior, pero debe volver a la acción y reclutar a Valquiria (Thompson), Korg (Waititi) y Jane Foster (Portman) -que ahora es la Poderosa Thor- para impedir que Gorr el Dios Carnicero (Bale) elimine a todos los dioses.

Thor: Amor y Trueno se estrenó en el Teatro El Capitán de Hollywood el 23 de junio de 2022 y se estrenó en Estados Unidos el 8 de julio, como parte de la Fase Cuatro del MCU. The first scene after the credits, the one after the first and main names, which still go with custom graphics, brings us back to Zeus. Russell Crowe's appearance as the God of Olympus is fleeting but forceful, perhaps the best scene in the film. In the film he is portrayed as a sort of God of gods, the leader of all mythologies in the universe and an idol for Thor. However, it doesn't take long to see that he is not much different from the Kapu whom Gorr kills at the beginning of the film, an idle God exclusively concerned with the next orgy and his safety, beyond that of the mortals who pray to him. Come on, Marvel got more accurate with the mythology this time than usual.

However, although this pot-bellied and cowardly Zeus is somewhat disappointing for many, we did not doubt for a moment that he had survived Thor piercing him with his own lightning bolt. After all, we are talking about Zeus. In this scene we see him recovering from the wound with his harem of young girls and boys, spouting a rather Thanos-esque speech about how he intends to make the universe fear the gods again so it will stop worshipping superheroes. That's where his son Hercules, played by Brett Goldstein, comes in.

We were all caught off guard by the surprising reveal that took place at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. Marvel is always ready to surprise and of course the fourth exploit of the God of Thunder was within those plans. And as we saw last July, with 'Thor: Love and Thunder' they did it again. There was a trigger within that story that marked the film since the project was announced: the return of Natalie Portman to the MCU. In fact, she is already at the top of the Marvel movie rankings.

It is therefore far behind the other Marvel film released, 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness', which has earned $955 million. Above it were 'Top Gun: Maverick' and 'Jurassic World: Dominion'. The Batman' was in fifth place, above the God of Thunder.

In the second scene, the one dedicated to the most patient who stay until the end, the protagonist is Jane. As we saw at the end, Jane unfortunately did not overcome the cancer, dying in the arms of Thor to whom she makes him promise to turn the page. After the credits we see Portman's character again at the gate of Valhalla, greeted by Heimdall (Idris Elba's character) welcoming her to the Land of the Gods. And then a message saying "Thor will return".
